Joe Fryer (Stevenage)
Kept his first competitive clean sheet for Stevenage in their 1-0 win over Barnet, and was named Man of the Match in a post-game Twitter poll.
Matthew Elsdon (Inverness)
Returned to the starting line-up as Inverness picked up their first win of the season, 4-0 away to Brechin.
Callum Cooke (Blackpool)
Played 78 minutes for Blackpool before being replaced by Sessi D’Almeida. The League One side defeated Oldham 2-1, but there was no goal or assist for Cooke this week though.
Robbie Tinkler (Gateshead)
Started on the bench for Gateshead in their match away to Ebbsfleet United, but was subbed on in the 66th minute.
Harry Chapman (Blackburn)
Made his first start for Rovers in the mid-week East Lancashire derby against Burnley. Blackburn lost the match 2-0, but the 19-year-old was praised by manager Tony Mowbray after the match for his display. Was dropped in Saturday’s 4-1 win over MK Dons – but made an impact off the bench, setting up Dominic Samuel for the fourth goal.
Joao Morelli (FC Levadia)
No surprise to hear Morelli was on the scoresheet for Levadia again this week. The 21-year-old scored two goals in a 9-0 win over Sillamae Kalev on Tuesday, his first being a panenka. He followed that up with another goal against Nomme Kalju on Saturday.
Connor Ripley (Burton)
Still unable to dislodge Steven Bywater from the starting line up, Ripley was again the substitute keeper for the Brewers, who drew 1-1 against Sheffield Wednesday.
Julien de Sart (Zulte Waregem)
Not the best of afternoons for the Belgian. His Zulte Waregem side were 2-1 up, until they conceded an 89th minute equaliser and then a stoppage time winner against in-form Sporting Charleroi. To make matters worse, de Sart was sent off in the 91st minute for a second yellow.
Antonio Barragan (Real Betis)
Played the full match for Betis in their 2-1 win over Celta Vigo on Friday.
