Loan Watch #3

Joe Fryer (Stevenage)
Started the match as Boro picked up their first win in League Two, defeating Grimsby 3-1.

Matthew Elsdon (Inverness)
Watched on from the bench as Inverness picked up their first point of the Scottish Championship season at home to Morton.

Callum Cooke (Blackpool)
Back from a slight injury that had ruled him out of the last two games, Cooke was subbed on for the injured Mark Cullen in the 20th minute against Doncaster. THE 20-year-old went on to make an impact for Blackpool as he set up a goal and scored one himself in an enthralling 3-3 draw. Cooke was named joint MOTM in a post-game poll.

On the game, Cooke said: “The manager said ‘go try and change the game’ and thankfully I had a bit of an impact.”

Robbie Tinkler (Gateshead)
Played the full 90 minutes in Gateshead’s mid-week defeat to Wrexham, but dropped to the bench in their 3-0 win over Macclesfield on Saturday.

Harry Chapman (Blackburn)
An unsued sub against Bradford, Chapman is yet to start a match for Blackburn following his loan switch to Ewood Park. An enforced change and defending a 1-0 lead probably didn’t help his chances of featuring in this game though.

Joao Morelli (FC Levadia)
Unsurprisingly, the Brazilian was back amongst the goals, scoring in a 3-0 win over Vaprus. He’s now on 16 goals for the season.

Another one!! #thanksgod

Connor Ripley (Burton)
Had to settle for a place on the bench against Birmingham as Steven Bywater retained his place in between the sticks. Burton won the match 2-1.

Julien de Sart (Zulte Waregem)
Played the full 90 minutes in Waregem’s 4-0 win over Standard Liege. Picked up a 45th minute booking.

Antonio Barragan (Real Betis)
Played the full match at the Nou Camp, which ended in defeat for Los Verdiblancos.
