The Boro Breakdown – A much needed three points

Tuesday night’s game against Wigan was far from a classic, but it marked a first win for Boro under the tutelage of Jonathan Woodgate – and boy was it needed.

The Boro Breakdown team spoke about a lack of confidence amongst the squad in their latest podcast, and hope the win over the Latics will be the catalyst for the squad to really click in this new approach.

They also reflected on the previous game against Blackburn, which ended in former captain Tony Mowbray getting the better of fellow former skipper Woodgate.

They debated whether 4-3-3 is the best system for Boro going forward and also delved into the midfield mystery that has stalled the team of late.

Is it time to drop Lewis Wing? Is Britt Assombalonga under-appreciated? Will Brownaldo ever catch on?

Listen to it all in the latest episode, ‘Talking about a Woody-lution’.
