The Boro Breakdown team were back after recent festivities to talk all things Boro.
Tony Pulis’s position has come under intense scrutiny from supporters of late – and Jonny, Elliott and Dana discussed whether the Boro boss should be axed ahead of the January transfer window.
The mounting fan frustration intensified after defeat to Sheffield Wednesday on Boxing Day, where blunt Boro bored and were booed off by sections of the bumper crowd.
But should the players shoulder the majority of the blame for the recent slump, or is Pulis the main problem?
Also amongst the discussion was the ‘no width and creativity’ argument. Why are Marcus Tavernier and Lewis Wing not starting? Is it merely just an easy excuse for Pulis to fall back on?
There was also a look ahead to Saturday’s game, where Boro host the Championship’s bottom side Ipswich Town.
